FluxBar

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

Overview

FluxBar is designed to keep network usage information on your Mac. The app does not collect, sell, share, or upload personal data, analytics, telemetry, or traffic statistics.

Traffic statistics

FluxBar records aggregated network counters locally so it can show live speed, daily totals, history, network budgets, and per-app usage. These records are stored on device and are not transmitted to the developer or any third party.

Network Extension

FluxBar uses a macOS Network Extension data filter only to count inbound and outbound bytes per source application. The extension allows traffic and does not block, modify, redirect, inspect content, or upload traffic.

Location permission

macOS requires location permission before an app can read the current Wi-Fi network name. FluxBar uses the Wi-Fi name only for local per-network history and budgets. Location data is not collected or transmitted.

CSV export

If you choose to export a CSV file, the file is generated locally on your Mac and saved only where you choose.

Changes

This policy may be updated when FluxBar changes. The updated date on this page will reflect the latest version.
